Reminder that we have a general meeting tomorrow! This one is a special one:
In remembrance of our loved friend Veda Jethani and their positive impact on our community, we will be hosting a care package drive. We will be organizing basic hygiene and personal care items such as deodorant, toothbrushes, socks, and make-up kits into small packages and donating them to Jazzie’s Place, a local Cis-Trans community center in San Francisco. Please join us in helping organize these kits! 🩵
Note: The meeting may run a little longer than usual. Feel free to stay as long as you can.

These words honor and mourn the devastating loss of our beloved Veda Jethani, who passed from this world on October 22, 2024, at the age of 20.
Veda’s journey was one of transformation and discovery. At Cal, she flourished—blossoming into her bold, radiant self through the love and friendships she found here. Celebrating her queer identity, she embraced her work with Sigma Epsilon Omega, the Queer Alliance & Resource Center, and the Gender Equity Center. Veda had a rare gift for seeing others deeply and authentically, finding profound purpose in touching and transforming countless lives through her love and kindness.
Dance was Veda’s passion. When she stepped onto a dance floor—in Los Angeles, Berkeley, Berlin, or anywhere in the world—people instinctively formed a circle around her, joyfully cheering her on. She was fearless, beautiful, silly, and full of surprises. We miss her everywhere.
Be at peace, lovely Veda—you are forever in our hearts.

An evening of messing with makeup in honor of beloved friend Veda Jethani.
When things feel difficult let's spend time with each other, come as you are! Comfy clothes and pjs even better.
Do some makeup among friends and integrate a little bit of queer joy into your everyday with new skills and ideas. Led by student makeup artists and your personal expression! No experience needed.
Get a bunch of fun free makeup to spice up the face card and spread love always with art. Open to all but free makeup limited to the first 30 attendees!!!
